FIFA 15: 10 Most Overpowered And Broken Players

Every FIFA fan has been there, as your opponent deploys a powerful, pacy striker and runs roughshod all over your carefully selected team consisting of some of the best players on the game. Somehow, even the best defenders are left useless in face of sheer speed and strength even if there is a huge gap in their actual ratings. Welcome to FIFA 15, where tactics go out of the window and physical attributes rule supreme.

In this latest version of EA Sports’ incredibly popular series, speed alone can allow you to utterly dominate opponents even if they’re controlling the likes of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich or Premier League champions Manchester City. The right combination of physical stats combined with decent finishing or passing ability can produce extremely difficult players for teams to defend against.

For many footballers, their FIFA 15 avatar reflects the player’s effectiveness in real life. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are, rightly so, devastating in both real life and in the virtual world. But not all players are created equal. Some are far better than their real life counterparts, playing well above their perceived ability, allowing them to carve a trail of destruction through opposing defences. The biggest offenders are highlighted here, individuals that inspire rage, fear and more than a few hurled controllers across the room.

BRINGING IN THE BIG GUNS: Arsenal see midfield star Santi Cazorla join the FIFA 15 TOTW

FIFA Ultimate Team assembles the best players from international and club competitions around the world and this week we see the likes of Santi Cazorla and Diego Costa making the cut.
The collection of players from around the world are available to challenge online in FIFA Ultimate Team.

Representing the Premier League were Chelseas Costa and Arsenals Cazorla, who both played big parts in their teams weekend victories.

On Saturday, Chelsea defeated Swansea City 5-0 with the Spanish international scoring two goals and assisting on another.

It kept The Blues top of the Premier League, maintaining a decent cushion of five points over title rivals Manchester City.

Sunday saw Cazorla shine for the Gunners firing in a goal and providing an assist for Arsenal as they took care of City 2-0.

Guessing Gareth Bale’s FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Could Win You Tickets

EA Sports has announced the most recent challenge for those using their mobile application, FIFA 15 Ultimate Team. The challenge tasks players with recreating the exact team being used by Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale’s Ultimate Premiere League Team. Anyone who can manage to guess the professional football player’s FIFA team could score themselves two tickets to a Premiere League football game of their choice, reports VideoGamer. It’s definitely worth a shot, as sitting on the sidelines of a live game will beat playing on your mobile device any day.

Players are tasked with choosing one of three formations and using any of the Gold-Rated Ultimate Team Players. Upon selecting from these two options, the player must build their own FIFA 15 Ultimate Team lineup in an attempt to guess what Bale has chosen. The closer the player gets to choosing the exact team Gareth Bale has chosen then the greater the chances of winning those two tickets becomes. Each completed team submitted will be given feedback from the developer in the form of a clue to help you gain ground towards choosing the right team.

Should more than one person guess Bale’s team, however, then a winner will be chosen at random be Electronic Arts. That seems fair, considering the number of people making use of the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team application. Of course, those who learn of this competition earlier can get a head-start on the rest of the world.

As previously mentioned, the winner will score themselves two tickets to a home game of their favorite Premiere League team. The choice is ultimately up to you as to which game you end up seeing for winner this little competition. EA has said the competition will come to a conclusion on February 2, 2015. So, find which team Bale would have chosen within the next few weeks to better your chances at winning.

5 Reasons Why FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is Waste of Time

EA Sports FIFA Ultimate Team, commonly known as FUT, is by far the most popular game mode in the series. Since its inauguration in 2009, FUT has allowed millions of gamers to become expert managers and build there dream teams. According to EA, in 2014, roughly 542,000 transfers are listed per hour, with 11,000 matches played each day. Wow.

Do you want Messi, Ronaldo and Neuer on your team? Not a problem, IF you have the cash. That IF, brings me to address a very crude point regarding FIFA Ultimate Team – it is perhaps a waste of time. Below I’ll address 5 points that annoy me as well as other gamers. For those of you who indulge in FUT 15, this article may not be for you.

1. There is just not enough money
Technically, Ultimate Team is a footballing stock market and those who have the know-how can thrive. It is really hard to win a meaningful amount of coins, and sadly most of us don’t know the dodgy dealing loopholes that has made the game downright unfair for honest gamers. EA needs to offer a means of more bonuses for exceptional play and individual skill, instead of users searching the web for convoluted ways to hustle a small handful of coins. With that said, I think it’s pretty cool to plan a dream team with the newly integrated Concept Squad feature.

2. Packs are garbage at best
Alright, opening packs were once a fond experience for us all, now it has become quite boring and typically annoying when you get the same players. Most times we are disappointed by the quality players, packs are just hit and miss, mostly miss. IF you don’t have the money, you’ll never get a half-decent striker for your squad either. Let me be fair, you’ll eventually get great players (if you stick around playing FUT long enough), but expect to have a lighter piggy. I’d say it is better to enter the transfer market to build your team with affordable players with high chemistry, rather than having one or two big name stars.

3. The development has hit a snag
Here’s a disclaimer: Ultimate Team is amazing. But! It has become a bit repetitive? No doubt the FIFA sales have soared for EA, but, with the exception of Concept Squads and loan players, it’s basically the same component as FIFA 14. Where does EA plan to develop Ultimate Team? Do you have any suggestions? Wouldn’t it be interesting to add your Pro Player to your Squad? Just a thought. . .

4. It’s a rip-off
IF I had the money to waste, I would buy a couple million coins and you know – Build “THE” Dream Team. Sadly, life doesn’t work like that, and EA is gaining a huge profit margin from players purchasing coins. FIFA has become like an app, if you want more, PAY more, and it’s just not fair to consumers. I already purchase a new copy of FIFA each year, so why does EA want to suck more money out of my pockets? Greed! The franchise should make a standalone FUT game that way most of us won’t be fooled into spending more money. Just a suggestion, play Manager Mode, it’s much easier to build a dream squad if you start using Real Madrid.

5. EA server issues are burdensome
Alright, I ranted about the shameless EA server issues that we all encounter in the article below, so maybe I shouldn’t go in detail here.
