Soccer fans picking up a copy of video game FIFA 15 will spot a familiar face from the U.S. Mens National Team.

Electronic Arts announced Clint Dempsey will grace the cover of FIFA 15 in North America, joining Argentinian star Lionel Messi.

Its pretty cool, especially to be on the cover of a game that I played growing up, and also in the company of one of the best players in the world, said Dempsey in an interview. Its exciting.

Dempsey is captain for the U.S. Mens National Team, which finished a strong run at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, losing in the knockout stage to Belgium. Dempsey also plays midfielder for Seattle Sounders FC in Major League Soccer.

FIFA 15 will launch on multiple platforms on September 23, including PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

EA Explains Fifa 15 Ultimate Team Changes, Wants to Deal With Bots and Coin Farmers

EA just recently announced in a blog post the introduction of price ranges in Fifa 15 Ultimate Team. At the time not much was explained as to why these changes are being made but it was obvious that it was due to fair play.

Now, EA has come forward with a detailed explanation. According to EA, FUT should be fair and fun for all, so over the past few weeks they have made some adjustments.

We have implemented a lot of changes to FUT in the past several weeks, including our decision to make the Transfer Market inaccessible via the Web and Companion App, and the introduction of Price Ranges within the Transfer Market.

EA wants to make life difficult for coin farmers and cheaters. Such people generate FUT coins illegitimately in the game via bots and phishing scams. As result, coins are flooded in the market and prices of high value players go way up.

So, vast majority of FUT players are unable to get their favorite players in the team. However, things are changing:

The introduction of Price Ranges has helped restrict illegitimate coin transfers on the FUT Transfer Market, and balance player item prices so they reflect the current marketplace, but finding that right balance will take some time – we have a team dedicated to finding that balance.

EA further said that since implementing these changes, they have seen positive signs for restoring FUT balance. As for access to the Marketplace via web or companion app, it will be back soon.

New Fifa 15 Ultimate Team Update: Issues, Transfers, Bug Fixes

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is one of the most popular Android games on the market, so don’t be surprised if you hear about it in the news. A new update has been released for FIFA 15 UT, and it addresses some key issues while adding transfers, but some users have reported that the update broke some things, so it’s not perfect.

This game has had its fair share of updates in the past, but they seemed to do more harm than good. Many users have reported various issues with the game, mostly involving the mandatory Facebook authorization. Users reported all sorts of things from freezes and crashes to motorization bugs. FIFA 15 UT devs have since responded to those reports and attempted to fix them by rolling out various updates. The current version is 1.3.1 and besides a team rosters update that brings players like Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina to Chelsea, it also adds performance enhancements to the mix, along with various bug fixes. Transfers are finally here, and this is a feature that’s been demanded for a long time now. Still, bugs are being reported by a lot of users on both the iOS platform as well as Android.

One of said problems is apparently a glitch that brings users back to the homepage. This may be another authorization issue or a networking issue, but it’s a very common bug right now. A lot of users are also reporting a bug that prevents the game from connecting to the EA servers. One player, for instance, says that he hasn’t been able to play once since he updated the game. You can see how this could be a problem for most players, especially considering that this buggy state of affairs has been going on for a long time. Hopefully, the developers will do something about it and roll out a big update to solve all of this.

Have you updated to 1.3.1 yet? If so, how does it behave for you? Any bugs encountered so far? Let us know by leaving a comment.

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team transfer market changes leaves fans fuming

The new Price Range feature aims to set the highest and lowest Coin prices that each item can be sold on the Transfer Market, including players, in-forms, consumables, and club items.

The changes are supposed to Help FUT gamers understand the value of the players in their club, make high-rated players more attainable for all FUT gamers and ensure a level playing field and further restrict illegitimate coin transfers on the Transfer Market.

EA has confirmed that the Transfer Market on PC has returned with Price Ranges enabled, with PlayStation and then Xbox to follow, following an extensive maintenance period earlier today.

Although the new FUT item Price Ranges will differ from current prices, their relative value to other player items on the Transfer Market will remain consistent in order to maintain a level playing field for everyone, a post from EAsports reads.

We believe the long-term benefits of this new change will make FUT more fun and fair for everyone.

But the new changes have sparked a backlash on Twitter, with one of the top trending terms featuring the hashtag #RIPFUT.

One fan wrote: EA do you not realise what you have just done, rest in peace ultimate team, PES here we come!

While another wrote: This update is ridiculous! Youve ruined your own game.

FIFA 15 Companion app transfer problems since

It doesnt matter whether youre a fan of Diego Costa of Chelsea or Robin van Persie of Manchester United, the one thing that we can be sure of is that you are a football supporter. In that case you may also enjoy FIFA 15 and the companion app for Android or iOS devices, but now there appear to be EA Sports FIFA 15 Companion app transfer problems since the latest update.

The app for both platforms requires users to have an Origin account connected to FIFA 15 (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, or PC). For Ultimate Team feature you also need to have an Ultimate Team Club within FIFA 15. Some of the features of the app include finding and bidding on players on the FUT transfer market, selling players with the FUT transfer list, and managing your FUT squads.

The free Companion app for Android and iOS received an update just yesterday and the Whats New section of the app description includes being able to preview the full TOTW on the Home Screen from the Live tile as well as being able to preview all squads in My Squad without needing to set them as active. Theres also extra security in the form of Two Factory Authentication.

The iOS FIFA 15 Companion app is available from iTunes while the Android version is on Google Play, but everything is not as smooth as it could be for some. To be frank its not the first time weve heard of issues with this app, and since the update yesterday weve been receiving comments from our readers as well as emails about problems. A look at the user reviews on the app descriptions also show that many people are facing difficulties with the app.

Comments since the latest update on the Google Play Store make it clear that many players are very unhappy and frustrated. For example one user says, Absolutely garbage. Cant use the transfer window anymore also never get any decent players. EA rip off. Another says, Transfer market down…Despite update. Had update to see totw and other squads but still no transfer market, which is the main point off the app, please sort it out EA. A further comment says Worse than before. The new update is just pointless, cant access the transfer market now.

Meanwhile user comments on the App Store include this one saying, Great app but currently the market on the app is broken and under maintenance so please fix that so we can list and buy players. Another commenter says, I would rate it as excellent but I have been having trouble with the transfer market selling players and clearing sold items. These are just a few of the many comments from users about issues with the app and wed like to hear from readers about this.

Do you have the latest update for the FIFA 15 Companion app for Android or iOS? If so, is everything working fine for you, or are you encountering any of the problems that other users are having? It would be good to get an idea of how widespread these issues are, so do let us know with your comments.

Harry Kane show continued by EA with FIFA 15 SIF

Tottenham fans can’t stop talking about Harry Kane at the moment and now we can see that his recent performances have attracted the attention of EA too.

The developer has now unveiled their latest Team of the Week squad and Harry Kane has made the lineup once again. It means that since FIFA 15 launched, Kane has received two in-form cards which is not an easy thing to do.

As a result, you can now find a new Harry Kane card in FIFA 15 FUT packs with a higher rating of 74. Let’s not forget that this is a player that originally shipped with a 68 card, so there has been some massive improvement in his stats and we still have three months of football left.

To give you an idea of the new stats and how they compare, we’ve included a useful comparison showing the new Harry Kane TOTW 74 card, matched up against the default 68 stats.

The question is, can Harry Kane earn himself a third in-form card before the season ends – has any other FIFA 15 player even achieved this yet?

Let us know your thoughts on the new TOTW and whether you think Kane’s new stats are well deserved.

If you’re a fan of FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, you’d know that there was a small market crash that occured this weekend at the hands of 35K packs being released. Not many people expected that to happen and because of that players prices dropped, not drastically but enough to ruin many people’s investments. The problem with that is because of the small crash, many people panic sold their items because they think the prices won’t rise again. Well they’re wrong, because prices are already going up to where they once were. Kompany dropped as low as 50K on Tuesday and is now at about 62K.

But if prices are rising, why is it a good time to invest in coins? Well it’s simple, the FUT United tournament is coming this weekend. What is that you may ask? It’s a tournament that is released to celebrate the anniversary of FIFA Ultimate Team, and with that tournament, sooo many packs are released during that time it’s insane. Plus, the tournament itself grants packs to the winners. With all these packs, a market crash of a lifetime similar to that of Team of the Year will take place, and it’s the time for investors like myself to put effort into getting some coinage.

For those with a lot of coins, look to invest in those high rated inform cards that will be getting packed a lot, their price will significantly drop, and you’ll be able to sell them back in a week for almost double the price. Look to invest in those Kevin de Bruyne cards, Mesut Ozil, Jeremy Menez, and Karim Benzema. They’ll be at their lowest price in the weekend. Want to buy cheapest fifa 15 coins? Click here to buy cheap fifa 15 coins.

For those that have a smaller amount of coins and really want to invest, look for the lower end of the informs this week, but get those that are still somewhat valuable, this involves Rafinha and mostly Remy Cabella, he’ll go down to under 20K, and since he’s the best right mid from France, his price will go up to about 60-70K once he’s out of packs. Tripling your coins. For those who also can’t invest in those players, look at Mesut Ozil’s regular card and Jordi Alba. During Team of the Year, Ozil was going for roughly 4.5K coins, and once it ended, his price right now is 9,000 coins. The market works in weird ways.

Takeaways from this? Invest all of your coins this weekend. If you buy smart and low, you’ll make a huge profit on coins down the line. Good luck this weekend!

FIFA 15: 10 Most Overpowered And Broken Players

Every FIFA fan has been there, as your opponent deploys a powerful, pacy striker and runs roughshod all over your carefully selected team consisting of some of the best players on the game. Somehow, even the best defenders are left useless in face of sheer speed and strength even if there is a huge gap in their actual ratings. Welcome to FIFA 15, where tactics go out of the window and physical attributes rule supreme.

In this latest version of EA Sports’ incredibly popular series, speed alone can allow you to utterly dominate opponents even if they’re controlling the likes of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich or Premier League champions Manchester City. The right combination of physical stats combined with decent finishing or passing ability can produce extremely difficult players for teams to defend against.

For many footballers, their FIFA 15 avatar reflects the player’s effectiveness in real life. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are, rightly so, devastating in both real life and in the virtual world. But not all players are created equal. Some are far better than their real life counterparts, playing well above their perceived ability, allowing them to carve a trail of destruction through opposing defences. The biggest offenders are highlighted here, individuals that inspire rage, fear and more than a few hurled controllers across the room.
